Why we exist
There is no shortage of patriotic merchandise in America. Most of it is a flag, a stock eagle, and a slogan somebody bought off a clip art site. We wanted to make the other thing: the actual text, rendered the way it was originally read — as engraved broadsides, nailed up in town squares, meant to be read at a distance by people deciding what to do about it.
So every design here starts from a real document or a real historical object. Ten amendments, numbered correctly. Period flintlock muskets, because those were the arms in civilian hands in 1791. The coiled rattlesnake as it actually flew, before this country had a flag or a treasury.
And yes, some of it is a joke
Satire is not a betrayal of patriotism. It is one of the oldest American traditions there is — Franklin did it, the colonial pamphleteers did it, and the First Amendment exists in large part to protect it. When we put a punchline on a founding document, that is us participating in the tradition, not mocking it.
How we operate
Everything is made to order. We hold no inventory, we destroy no unsold stock, and we can offer any design on any product because nothing has to be guessed in advance six months ahead of demand. It is slower than a warehouse. It also wastes almost nothing.
Who runs it
We are a small Florida company. The same people who answer your email are the ones who chose the fonts and checked the numerals. If something is wrong with your order, you are not filing a ticket into a void.
