A polite request, first issued in 1775.

The coiled rattlesnake flew over Continental Marines before the country had a flag, a treasury, or a single federal agency. It has never needed a caption longer than four words.

Closed back, printed in full colour.

A washed cotton six-panel cap with a low-profile crown, pre-curved visor, solid closed back and an adjustable buckle closure. The mark is printed, not stitched, so the full engraved line work survives at cap scale instead of being flattened into thread. This is the hat to pick when you want the whole design, not a simplified patch.

Sizing

One size fits most adults, with an adjustable back closure. Youth sizing in this style is available by special order — contact us before ordering.

Care

Hand wash cold or spot clean, reshape and air dry. Do not machine dry and do not iron directly on the print.

Printed cap or mesh trucker

The same design is offered two ways. This closed-back cap is printed in full colour and keeps every line of the original artwork. The open mesh trucker version is embroidered, cooler to wear, and carries a bold simplified stitch mark. Pick by whether you want the full art or the airflow.
